latest discovery

LastestDiscoveryThis is: "my latest discovery"

Each week I discover new artists that make me weep, both with the beauty of their art, and also with envy and feelings of my own inadequacy that comes with it. Every now and then I'll discover one that blows me away! My latest of these discoveries is Bailey Saliwanchik from NY.

I ADORE all of her work. All of it! I wish I was her.

I think I like her 'arab' women the most.

I can see why you are drawn to her art, I noticed that her brushwork and line quality is very similar to your style. You should not weep out of inadequacy :)
I absolutely love her charcoal and graphite work. Very inspiring! thanks for sharing.

Flossy, flossy, flossy! It makes me so sad that you feel your art is inadequate. It is just as amazing as this artist that you feature here. I look at your art, and feel incredibly inadequate about my own.

I just know that if more people saw your art, they would love it just as much as I do. I truly think you are among the best out there. You just need your art to bee seen more. Start doing IF more. A lot of "big" bloggers and indie shopping blogs are starting to feature their favorites from IF.

Also, (I have been wanting to say this for so long), that I still want to buy my most favorite "Camillia" from you, but have been really short on money with all the house fix-ups. I don't know if it is still available, but I think about it often. Sorry, I was unable to get it.

Keep doing what you are doing. I think it is amazing stuff!

Well I feel the exact same way about you flossy.
But as an artist myself (currently on hiatus from paper art...) I can relate to the feelings.

An amazing artist! Thanks for sharing.

But I second regina's comment. Your work is just gorgeous and you have no reason to feel inadequate!

Oh, and thank you for your comment on my blog - but sadly no, the balls don't make doing the laundry more fun :(

Me again...

I just wanted to say thank you too for your kind words on my "nesting" post. And I think for now, the patience is what I'm going to need the most ;)

Caution: stepping onto soapbox.

You wish you were her, and someone else wishes they were you and so on and so on. You are the only you there is, revel in it! :-)

Stepping off.
