extremes

extremes
My Illustration Friday attempt for extremes.

Some people used to say that she had taken her fancy for high-hair to the extremes.

I really like the contrasting colors and medium in this piece. I love the birds flying out of her hair, and the line work of her hair. Excellent!

there is no such thing as extreme when it comes to big hair.

wow that's some hair! I wonder how many birds are actually in there? I love that little one peeking out :-)

I like your approach here - great lines and fun perspective to emphasize the extreme hair! Nicely done and very clever!

Beautiful, she and Marie Antoinette could be in competition.

Ah, this brings me back to my youth in New Jersey, land of big hair. Great drawing, and the birds are fantastic!

Beautiful, I love it, really poetic!
It reminds me a spanish artist (one of my favorites) named Manuel Alcorlo (I think he hasn´t his own web site, but you can see some work searching in Google).
By the way, I love the story of your name, charming!

I love her hair. Looks like waves upon the ocean. All that is missing is a little ship.

Love this! As always. :-)

Hey, do I owe you a drawing or something? Or am I just having a brain fart?
