I still can't quite believe that the Art Gallery of NSW will have my cards on their shelves. The cards are now there, and I've been told they'll go up on the shelves after the Monet exhibition (and accompanying mountains of merchandise) is done and dusted. So by this time next week my cards should be on display for all to see. eeeeeeeeee.
Get outa my way, Monet! (hehehe - just kidding)
There are 30 different designs all up. I'm not sure if they'll all be out at once, or be staggered. So if anyone is going to the gallery in the next couple of months, let me know if you see them. :)I've also opted to avoid using plastic packaging, I don't want to be part of the plastic revolution where I can avoid it. The lady at the gallery seemed very keen to go along with me, so we're trialling it for a while. If they start getting a bit handled or grubby at all, then we'll revert back to plastic sleeves to protect them, but in the meantime they are packaged with a thin ribbon of recycled paper. I think it's an elegant solution, but we'll see how it plays out.
Heeeeee, I'm a little bit cited!

They look absolutely gorgeous :) Feather in your cap dearest Flossy, so proud.
I think your packaging solution is excellent too, something I've been pondering with the shop... should I bow to commercial trends and use plastic bags? Or stamp recycled paper lunch bags with my logo... not much of a question actually, paper bags it is hehe
Woohoo! Congrats. That is so exciting!
Well Done! They are so gorgeous!

Beautiful cards flossy-p! They will definitely be a hit. Congrats :D
I popped in there a couple of weeks ago - not to the gallery, just the book store. It's fabulous. So excited for you that your cards will be there. I like the simplicity of the packaging. Yah.
That is fantastic! Well done!
I'd love to hear how you go with the plastic-free packaging. When I wholesale cards they all go into cello bags and I also hate the waste, I'd so love to do without them!
