I'm sure you all remember the amazing
bouncy ball competition draw tool Mr You made for my Thanksgiving Illustration Giveaway. And I'm sure you remember a lass named
Kath was the winner... We'll as I mentioned in my previous post Kath wanted me to paint her a picture along the lines of a few works I've done before. She told me among her favourite flowers and birds were peonies and red cardinals...
Neither of which I've ever painted before.
This was what I came up with for her.
I hope she likes it :)
(It's very pretty, pretty, isn't it? I've been looking at so much wedding stuff, I think it's all starting to seep deeply in). There'll be another traditional Thanksgiving Illustration again this year. I'll give you plenty of notice.

I love the colours of red and pink together, beautiful! And the shapes dividing off the face etc, remind me a little of Chagall's work!
I love it and I am jealous! You are very clever.
Just so lovely and very special:)
How beautiful! I love the vibrant colors in contrast with the muted ones. Very pretty. :)
Adorable !!!
Absolutely gorgeous.

Gorgggggggggeous! I love the way you render textures like the swirling hair. Absolutely beautiful.
Greetings!
I am writing on behalf of Ces and Bjornik. We got your name from Renee's blog. We gathered you are a frequent visitor and commenter and thought you may want to participate in celebrating Renee's birthday on March 28th.
We are planning a virtual birthday celebration. We are calling it "Renee Day" (not Rainy Day :D) It will be March 28th and to celebrate the day, we are planning on creating an award called "The Renee's Love Award". The first recipient of the award will be Renee herself, for it is obvious that she touches the heart of every blogger who connects with her. It will come with a meme so that it will spread throughout blogland. The award is a collaborative piece and will be virtually delivered to Renee on her birthday.
As part of the celebration we thought it would be nice if you could post a special birthday greeting on your blog on March 28th. Since it seems Renee visits and comments on every visitor's or commenter's blog, she will be tickled to find a birthday surprise on your blog. This arrangement allows mass virtual celebration but preserves the personal bond that you establish with Renee.
This is optional, but we hope you will participate and make March 28th a special day for Renee.
Thank you very much! You have a wonderful blog! If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at bellasinclairdoodler@yahoo.com
